Open Water Diver Course > Advanced
This is the class for the diver who wants to learn more about the sport and be introduced into new techniques. The Open Water diver is introduced to deep diving, navigation diving and the student's choice of three other specialties. These specialties can include night diving, dry suit diving, wreck diving, boat diving, etc. The student does not become certified in each of these specialties, but is introduced to the basics of each. This course is strictly water work. Students spend all of their time in the water making it the favorite class among divers. Upon completion of this course the student will become a certified PADI Advanced Open Water Diver. This certification allows the diver to venture beyond the 60 ft limit set for the open water diver to a depth of 100 ft. It also gives the diver a closer look into other areas of the sport.
