Rescue Diver
This is the last class for the recreational diver before entering the professional realm of diving. The Rescue Diver class introduces the advanced diver into the techniques and ideas of in-water rescue. The diver learns how to first prevent an emergency situation and then if one were to occur how to manage, assist, and rescue a diver in distress.
The student is also introduced into the equipment and first aid used in emergency situations. This class is thought to be one of the most valuable classes in the PADI line of classes. Upon completion the diver becomes a certified PADI Rescue Diver. This class makes for a safer and more aware diver.
